It is NOT always about price!!
Saturday, September 20th, 2008Looking only at the price to rent a limousine or party bus is dangerous and crazy. This is your important event - how many 30th b-days do you have? How many weddings? Etc., etc.? Do you shop for a hotel room based only on price (Motel 6 versus a Ritz Carlton or a Raddison?) Or do you balance price w/service and quality?
Here are the facts about many, many other limousine companies in the Valley:
1. Many are not properly insured ($1.5 mill under 15 pax - $5 mill over 15 pax) or licensed (we are regulated locally by the AZ Department of Weights and Measures)
2. Most other companies that have 15+ pax limos like the Hummer-heavy companies do NOT comply or have DOT licenses - which means:
a) they are not using CDL licensed drivers
b) they do NOT do pre-employment or random drug/alcohol testing
c) their safety is not monitored by a govt entity
3. Many other companies use independent contractors to save money so they are not treating their staff right. All our chauffeurs are employees - covered by Worker’s comp and social security and FICA coverage.
4. We employ 2 detail staff to maintain and clean our vehicles daily AND we WASH our glassware. Many other companies cut corners on cleanliness and wash only dirty looking glasses w/Windex!
The bottom line is that we are a legitimate limo company with proper insurance, licensing and trained professional, SAFE chauffeurs and we do not cut corners in ways that are not fair for their staff and/or not safe for the clients.
It is NOT always about price. Heck if I was always looking at price I would always stay at Motel 6 - but I don’t! If I was always looking at price I would always eat out at Taco Bell - but I don’t - I appreciate the entire ambiance, quality, variety and service.
